1. What does Spectrum Yoga offer?

Spectrum Yoga offers professional, self-study certification courses for yoga teachers and wellness professionals who want to work ethically and effectively with neurodivergent and trauma-affected populations.

We currently offer three online courses:

  • Spectrum Trauma-Informed Yoga – Professional Track

  • Spectrum Yoga for ADHD – Professional Track

  • Spectrum Yoga for Autism (ASD) – Professional Track


2. Are these yoga classes or teacher trainings?

These are professional training programs, not public yoga classes.

They are designed to teach:

  • How to adapt yoga instruction

  • How to work responsibly with specific populations

  • How to structure classes safely and ethically

They are not movement classes you attend live.


3. Are the courses online or in person?

All Spectrum Yoga courses are 100% online and self-paced.

There are no in-person requirements and no live attendance obligations.

This format ensures accessibility, consistency, and neurodivergent-affirming learning conditions.


4. Who are these courses for?

These courses are designed for:

  • Certified yoga teachers

  • Movement and somatic practitioners

  • Wellness and fitness professionals

  • Coaches or educators working with neurodivergent or sensitive populations

You do not need clinical or therapy credentials.


5. Do I need to have ADHD, autism, or trauma experience myself?

No.

You do not need to personally identify as neurodivergent or trauma-affected to take these courses.

You do need a commitment to ethical, respectful, non-pathologizing practice.


6. What does “Professional Track” mean?

The Professional Track indicates that the course includes:

  • A formal Spectrum certificate

  • Professional designation rights

  • Public directory listing

  • A standards-based framework

  • An assessment or review component

This distinguishes it from casual or awareness-only courses.


7. What do I receive after completing a course?

Upon successful completion, you receive:

  • A Spectrum Yoga Professional Track certificate

  • Inclusion in the Spectrum Yoga directory

  • Permission to use the applicable professional designation

  • Recognition within the Spectrum professional ecosystem


8. Are these therapy or clinical programs?

No.

Spectrum Yoga courses:

  • Are not psychotherapy

  • Do not involve trauma processing

  • Do not provide clinical credentials

  • Do not replace medical or mental health care

They focus on instructional ethics, nervous system awareness, and safe teaching practices.


9. How long do the courses take to complete?

Each course is self-paced.

You can move through the material gradually and revisit content as needed.
Specific hour counts and module breakdowns are provided at enrollment.


10. What is the cost of each course?

Each Professional Track course is priced at:

$1,195 CAD

This reflects the depth of training, professional recognition, and directory inclusion.

Payment plans may be available.


11. Can I take more than one course?

Yes.

Each course stands alone, and many professionals choose to complete multiple Spectrum certifications depending on their teaching focus.


12. Are the courses accredited?

Spectrum Yoga operates under its own standards-based certification framework.

The focus is on competency, ethics, and responsible representation, not registry checkboxes.


13. Will I be listed publicly as a certified instructor?

Yes.

Graduates of the Professional Track are eligible for listing in the Spectrum Yoga public directory, subject to completion and alignment with standards.


14. Do I need to renew my certification?

Details about renewal, updates, or continuing education (if applicable) are provided within the course materials.
